Dr. Husein refers qualifying diabetic patients to Medical Solutions in Canton for Medicare-covered therapeutic footwear. Medicare Part B covers one pair of diabetic shoes plus custom inserts per calendar year for eligible patients with diabetes.

Equipment Dr. Husein prescribes
Pneumatic compression devices for lymphedema and chronic lower extremity swelling. Medicare covers rental or purchase when medically documented. Dr. Husein coordinates the prescription and referral.
Medical-grade compression hosiery for venous insufficiency, edema, and post-surgical swelling. Dr. Husein prescribes the appropriate compression level (15â20 mmHg through 40â50 mmHg) for your condition.
Custom-molded foot orthotics prescribed and fitted by Dr. Husein. Addresses biomechanical imbalances contributing to plantar fasciitis, flat feet, bunions, and other conditions. Insurance coverage varies.
Controlled ankle motion (CAM) boots for stress fractures, Achilles injuries, and post-surgical immobilization. Allows protected weight-bearing during healing.
Ankle-foot orthoses for drop foot, neurological conditions, and post-stroke gait issues. Custom and prefabricated options available. Medicare covers when medically necessary.
Specialized footwear and devices that redistribute pressure away from diabetic foot ulcers and wounds to promote healing. Critical for preventing amputation in high-risk patients.
